A LEVEL SUCCESS FOR COLSTON’S GIRLS’ SCHOOL

Colston’s Girls’ School, recently named the best school in Bristol, has been celebrating its sixth form’s A-level results with many exceptional individual performances.

Nimra Naeem (A*A*A*+A*EPQ) will read Medicine at Bristol University, Georgina Evans (A*AA) will read Linguistics at Cambridge and Umamah Malik (A*AA) will read Philosophy and Theology at Oxford.

Helena Trebichavska (A*AA + A* EPQ) goes to Durham to read Combined Honours in Social Sciences, Georgie Quaife (A*AA) will read Creative Writing/Philosophy and Ethics at Bath Spa University and Maggie Yu (AAA) takes up a place at Warwick University to read Accounting and Finance.

A quarter of all examination papers were graded as an A* or A allowing a significant proportion of students to proceed to the very best universities.

Executive Principal, Alistair Perry said: "We are delighted with the achievements of all of our students and proud of the exceptional young women they have become. We wish them every success in the next stage of their lives.”
